Student Leadership Conference
A keen group of 10 aspiring AP leaders recently attended the GRIP Student Leaders Conference at the Perth Convention Centre. The key themes of the day included: creating culture, being a voice for all students and using your strength to help others. Our student ambassadors connected with representatives from other schools and engaged in a variety of activities and workshops. Highlights included a focus on the responsibilities that come with leadership and learning about how everyone’s needs are different.
“Getting ideas about how things can be achieved through student action and voice was interesting. I think what we have at the AP is pretty good. We have community meetings and share things with each other, but I can see how we can improve this further”.
