Yet another wonderful day was spent at the Fremantle Literature Centre where we took great delight in listening to Western Australian author, Holden Sheppard. His latest novel, Invisible Boys tells the tale of three adolescents each harbouring their own secrets. Set in Geraldton, Charlie, Hammer and Zeke try to hide their truths but when all is revealed actions are set in motion which could ultimately bring down their worlds.
We, me [Kadence], Bella, Keira and Perseus spent a day delighting in literature. After prompts from Sheppard, we spent many hours writing our own stories and sharing them with like-minded students who had gathered at the Lit Centre from schools across the Perth region. It was great fun and we look forward to the next soiree in Term Three.
