On the first day of school the Kara children looked well rested after their wonderful summer holiday. After exchanging long conversations with each other the children selected varied jobs from the environment. The older children are being excellent role models to newer friends. It is always such a pleasure to observe these traditions in our Montessori classroom. When you are in the room, it echoes with a joyous ‘buzz’. This occurrence is prevalent because of the children confidently trying to create friendships with each other. As the term continues, I look forward to extending all the children with their learning in Kara.
