The term is flying by and we are getting ready for… dare we say it… Christmas. The children were delighted this week to be greeted at the door with a lovely potted Christmas tree ready for watering and decorating. A perfect tree for a toddler, just add a basket of wooden or fabric ornaments for them to decorate and redecorate as desired. Afterwards, you can plant the tree in the garden or repot it for the following Christmas.
Some of our Practical Life, Sensorial and Language work has taken on a festive theme until the end of Term. Watch out for the nut cracking tray, smelling jars, weaving and pegging work. We have plenty of card making work available in various forms involving festive themed pasting, stamping and glitter application. Get all of your homemade cards and gift tags needs sorted well ahead of time with your little one. Our reading basket also has a nice selection of festive books for you and your child to choose from. Just a reminder to everyone to please bring along a hat and sun protection to our group, it’s getting very hot out there!
