The Jellyfish Class have had a wonderful start to the 2022 school year. We have spent the first two weeks reconnecting and getting to know our new class members. The children have enjoyed exploring their new classroom space, especially the new outside area. The 1st of February signified the beginning of the Chinese New Year. To mark this occasion the children created their own Chinese Dragons. We learnt about the origin story for the ordering of the 12 animals and explored a range of symbols related to the new year. The children have jumped back into their work and have relished working with the new mathematics cards.
