We have enjoyed a busy start to term two in the Jellyfish Class!.
We’ve welcomed two new friends to our classroom Jamal and Noah. On the first day of school, we read two stories about ANZAC Day – ANZAC Ted and ANZAC Biscuits. The class discussed the difference between a celebration, such as a birthday, and a commemoration like ANZAC Day.
The children have also been working with the Australian Continent Box and have enjoyed the new activities.
We then began creating our Mother’s Day cards and gifts. The children were asked to think about what their mum’s favourite colours were, when creating the gifts. Each gift showed each child’s individual creative mind and were a lot of fun to make!.
We hope that all our RMS families enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day last Sunday.
