It has been a busy and exciting start to the 2025 school year. This year the Jellyfish class has welcomed many new members and it has been wonderful to watch new friendships blossom. The children attended swimming lessons every afternoon during Weeks Three and Four. They showed great independence and confidence in navigating their belongings, getting changed before and after swimming, and traveling to and from the pool. Great fun was had and the children developed some new swimming skills.
Within the classroom, the returning Jellyfish children headed straight back to work continuing on with lessons from last year. They have also helped support the new children by showing them how to do jobs and working with them. Some of the most popular jobs at the moment are the Puzzle Maps and Bead Chains.
We had a wonderful turn out to the Parent Education Meet the Teacher afternoon. It was so amazing to have so many families attend and share their ideas with one another. A hot topic of discussion was about how to support the children with their home reading.
