It’s that time of the year again. We have lots of festive work for the children to work with for the second half of the term. They are greeted at the door with a native tree which they carefully water and decorate as they see fit. Our art shelf is full of card making activities where the children are busy pasting, glueing, cutting and painting cards. These little cards make excellent gift tags for friends and family so please remember to write your child’s name on them and start collecting them over the coming weeks. The large outdoor paintings are also popular when used as gift wrap. Recently we had visits from a great grandparent at our group. It was so lovely to watch the interaction between the very young and older generation. It would be lovely to have more visits like this at our group. We have so many families that move to the area without family support and would greatly enjoy an intergenerational playgroup experience.
