Term Four started with a lively debate to decide on this year’s Christmas carol song. A discussion on democracy and equal votes ensued. We have read and shared books written by the Author Sally Rippin in preparation for her visit next week. The older Jellyfish children were introduced to using a work journal to record the work they do each day and to begin setting goals for their learning. They have really enjoyed this process and are beginning to develop their knowledge of how to set achievable goals.

A beautiful puzzle of wild animals has been added to classroom and the children have been working in groups of three to complete it. It has allowed the children to develop their fine motor and special reasoning skills. It has also been a wonderful opportunity to practice collaboration, working together and taking turns.
