On the 14th of March the Middle School journeyed to Scitech for the day. Students were involved in a presentation called Beyond the Beaker which inspired adolescents to discover careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths). They looked at new technology, big data, artificial intelligence and different career avenues available through STEM. Following on from this students went to the planetarium to see the show “To Space and Back”. They looked at space exploration and the impact it is having on our lives, to understanding our Universe and to advancing how we live. A fabulous day was had by staff and students.
