I am delighted that our premier as of Saturday 27 June, is moving Western Australia into Phase 4 of lifting Covid-19 restrictions. This means that our end of term school meeting on 3 July at 2.15 pm is available for all families to attend without restrictions. However we remind those families joining us for Snack and Chat on 26 June at 3-4 pm, that you will still need to register your attendance to ensure we adhere to the 300 people on site. We are also delighted that our School Ball scheduled for 13 November is now able to accommodate our full number of 120 guests. The School Ball is to celebrate our 35th year of the school and we welcome all parents/families/past staff/alumni to join us at this special occasion and fundraiser. Please purchase your tickets through reception@rms.wa.edu.au
A special thank you to our Community Spirit who have now run two of our craft workshops for parents/guardians. Come along this week to learn crocheting and also to meet other families from across the school. craft sessions for families. Wednesday 24 June we invite you from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm to come onsite at the Primary School for the Scholastic Book Fair. Children will have an opportunity through the day to view books to complete their wish list. Parents are then able to view and purchase books on Thursday with time slots on the flyer attached.
We also welcome back next term, our onsite school banking for children. This will commence on Wednesday 29 July from 8.30 am and with families now all using Kiss and Drive in the mornings, we will remind those children who are regular bankers to come to the table to deposit their savings. If your child has not been involved in school banking previously, please park in Emma Street and come with your child to see the volunteers at the school banking desk, who will provide instructions on setting up an account for your child to be involved in this financial literacy program.
