On Tuesday November 30th the Dugongs class enjoyed a lovely walk to ‘Pirate Park’. We had lunch and then everyone played on the ship. There was a fabulous amount of pirate role-playing which was made even more special by spotting a ‘real’ pirate ship out on the water! After a great play, we enjoyed another informative session with the ‘Adopt-a-Beach’ educators and then combed the beach looking for evidence.
Dugongs also thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Anzac Cottage in Mount Hawthorn on November the 11th. The students were very interested in the history discussions and the artefacts.
