This term, the children in Kara are enjoying their learning using various culture materials like 3-Part Nomenclature Cards. Older friends are showing more attention to detail as they complete jobs as leaders in the room. The children’s’ accurate efforts are noticed with their pencil work and handwriting.

The third year of learning in Children’s House environments reveal the child’s inspiring and ‘crowning academic accomplishments’ as a bigger picture. In this phase, the child consolidates prior knowledge by internalising understanding of the previous two years taught concepts. In Kara when children accomplish success with whatever they try it allows them to feel proud of all achievements. Older children in Kara enjoy sharing their mastered skills with younger friends in the class community. Maria Montessori together with other developmental theorists reasoned that children show progress through one’s personalities and acquired developmental milestones.

Doctor Montessori believed that children advance with their learning through repetition of jobs. The science behind Maria Montessori’s intentions are unique. She communicated that the ‘hand is the instrument of all intelligence’. For children to be successful academically, they need to be resilient socially and emotionally in order to construct themselves as a person. In Kara, it is wonderful to observe the children apply one’s creative energies to build their selves uniquely.
