It is always a pleasure to have new peers join the Kara classroom! This term we have two more friends to share conversations and laughter with us. The children are engaging with a variety of Indigenous resources in the environment. They are learning that there are six seasons in the Noongar calendar and the western calendar has four seasons.
It was such fun to read the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar together with all the children over the last few weeks. Everyone absolutely loved having turns to narrate and dramatise the life cycle stages of the caterpillar on a storyboard. Students got to portray how transformation occurred from an egg which eventually grew into a beautiful adult butterfly.
