Starfish children were introduced to the Third Great Story – The Story of Humans. They explored humanity’s timeline from the Stone Age to modern times, discovering that fundamental human needs remain unchanged: food, shelter, clothing, medicine, defense, transportation, art, and spirituality. The discussion also ventured into the evolution of computers, with children amazed by the size difference between early computers and modern ones. They found it hard to believe that the internet is a relatively recent discovery. This story has sparked their curiosity to go deeper into the fundamental needs of humans.

In Art, they are learning about collage, allowing them to explore colours, textures and refine their fine motor skills. The children are also continuing with their recycled sewing project: creating cushions from their old shirts.

Additionally, the children have enthusiastically taken up skipping, experimenting with various techniques. They are practicing for Jump Rope for Heart, aiming to raise funds for the Heart Foundation.
