It has been wonderful for our Adolescent Program students to hear from our two exchange students in New Zealand during our Community Meeting times. The girls have written the following; “We’ve been having a fabulous time away and have so many ideas to bring back with us that can benefit our environment. So far we have been to a Rugby game, went to the Te Papa Museum, went on a 15km hike last weekend and also made a whole group of friends at school! Here are some pics from the trip so far.”

Thanks, Lilee and Amelia

Last week our Upper Primary children enjoyed their camp at Woodman Point. I would like to thank all of our staff who have volunteered their time this year to ensure that our children from six years and above are able to attend their annual camps. This is such an important part of the school program and greatly assists in the development of independence for our students. These activities also would not be possible without our parent volunteers who put their hands up for a sleepless night. Thank you.

I am very excited to share that we have eight staff members who will attend the Association Montessori International Congress in Bangkok from 2 – 6 August. This event is held every four years and is attended by Montessori practitioners from across the globe. We are also delighted to have nine of our Adolescent Program students who will also attend the Congress and then continue on to visit two Montessori Adolescent Programs, one in Bangkok and one in Chiang Rai. Both our staff and students will be presenting at the Congress and we look forward to being inspired by the stories that are shared by the other Montessori schools from around the world.
