I would like to thank all staff and families for completing the annual survey over the past two weeks.

I would also like to thank our Community Spirit (Christina Tanumihardja and Lisa Kelly), for their work with our recent Subway lunch order but particularly for the Montessoiree event last Friday night which was a huge success under the amazing leadership from Lara Schlippa and Tony Gillespie. This year’s event was extremely successful with many of our children showing off their hand made goods and performing a wide range of items for the talent show. Thank you also to all of the adolescent students who set up the evening and prepared food to make this such a fun night for all.

Thanks also go to Jodie Platt for arranging the Mango fundraiser with orders available to be placed up until 14 October. Please see the below link to place your order.

I am delighted to announce following our recent recruitment pool for Program Coordinators, that Michelle Langley will continue to fill the Barna Marlaak Program Coordinator position and we welcome Michael Watson to the school in his new role as Maambakoort Program Coordinator. We thank Andrew Wollstein for continuing to fill this role whilst we wait for Michael to join us at the beginning of the year. Michael has recently completed the Association Montessori International (AMI) Orientation to Adolescence course and has now enrolled in the AMI 12 – 18 years Diploma, which he will undertake over the next 18 months. We also congratulate and welcome Di Edmonds to the Program Coordinator role at the Port Kennedy Primary School site. This will see Di change in term 4 from the Mooja class teacher role and go into the DOTT teacher role across all three PK classes along with backfilling the Sealions class teacher role on Friday’s.
