What rain?!

Our Lower Primary students enjoyed a wet and wild camping experience at Point Peron, but as the pictures show it didn’t get in the way of a good time. Students had access to a range of activities, with archery and rock climbing being the favourites. The team games were also a massive hit with students, made particularly exciting this year due to a huge thunderstorm. Everyone had to run for cover and wait for the rain and lightning to pass – very exciting and unexpected.

Perhaps it was all the excitement that made tummies extra hungry, staff said they had never seen the children eat so much. The food was provided by the company running the camp and included a full-cooked breakfast, three kinds of toast and a selection of cereals for breakfast. After the day’s activities, dinner included chicken drumsticks and a wide selection of vegetables. Delicious!
