The Janda class have been busy in the first couple of weeks of term. With all this lovely hot weather we decided to revise our understanding of Sun Safety. We compared the famous 1980’s “Slip, Slop, Slap” advertising campaign with the more recent “Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek, Slide” advertisements. It is great to see that some students in Janda are now wearing sunglasses at playtime! Janda also investigated what the UV rating is, what it actually means and why we need to care about it, even if it is a cloudy day. They worked together to create amazing information posters that are proudly displayed, right by our brand new bottle of sunscreen!
